Kanarazu is a Japanese kana learning app by Linguistador LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, uses, and stores.
Information We Collect
Kanarazu does not require you to create an account and does not ask for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
The app stores your lesson progress locally on your device, including completed lessons and study progress. This information is used only to make the app work properly.
In-App Purchases
Kanarazu offers an optional one-time purchase, Kanarazu Pro, to unlock the full course.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Kanarazu uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as product identifiers, transaction status, app user identifiers, and device/store information needed to validate purchases.
Text-to-Speech
Kanarazu uses the Android system text-to-speech feature to pronounce Japanese kana and words. This functionality is provided by your device and system settings.
Analytics and Advertising
Kanarazu does not currently use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking for marketing purposes.
Children
Kanarazu is an educational app, but it is not specifically directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
Purchase-related information may be processed by Google Play and RevenueCat only as needed to provide and restore Kanarazu Pro access.
Data Retention
Local lesson progress remains on your device unless you reset progress in the app or uninstall the app.
Purchase records are handled by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own retention practices.
